The Moana House & Village is one of the oldest charitable trusts ded- icated to the elderly in the region and has done much to service the commu- nity since its inception in 1983. Like Moana House & Village many similar organisations, Moana House was established as a response to a growing need within the communi- ty, the continuous care and assistance of elderly residents.
