Editor’s Note

Dear Readers,

In an effort to continue our commitment to highlighting some of the best business of Australia and New Zealand, our September-October issue includes an array of different sectors. From rest homes to health centres, these businesses have consistently demonstrated excellent performance, fantastic customer satisfaction, and innovations in management.

The rest home and assisted living sector of New Zealand houses numerous incredible organisations. In this issue, we are highlighting Althorp Village, Aparangi Village, Fitzroy of Merivale, Glenwood Homes, Golden Healthcare Group, Highfield Country Estate, Lochlea Lifestyle Resort, Maryville Courts, Moana House, Tamahere Eventide, Windsorcare, and Wensley House. These organisations are in turn represented by two great associations, the New Zealand Retirement Village Association and the New Zealand Aged Care Association, both of which have been highlighted in this issue. In addition to all that, we are also showcasing Oceanside Village, a family-owned hotel in beautiful Western Australia.

In the manufacturing sector, we are presenting the best managed manufacturers of 2016 in the agricultural industrial sector. Magnus Australia, Gessner Industries, and our cover story of Ausplow Farming Systems will hopefully teach aspiring professionals a thing or two about the inner workings of the top three. Furthermore, the Blackall-Tamboo Regional Council and the Shire of Williams spoke with us about critical infrastructure and economic developments that they oversee in their respective regions.

Keeping in line with the diversified theme of our latest issue, we are also featuring the Remuera Surgical Centre and the Centre for Digestive Diseases as two of the best managed healthcare organisations of 2016. Both of them have been doing some great and innovative work in their respective fields which should be recognized more often.

As always, we hope that this issue will aspire both new and experienced business professionals as well as anyone interested in learning more about how these organisations operate from an insider’s perspective!

Best wishes,
Business View Team
