department shares the same visions,

sets of goals, and standards. SAF-Hol-

land’s employees are some of the best

that the industry has to offer. As a re-

sult, the company always meets cus-

tomers’ expectations and works more

efficiently by meeting deadlines in a

consistent manner.

“If you want to have a product of

choice, you really need to work close-

ly with your customers and to un-

derstand how the different markets

operate”, says Warren. Like any oth-

er industry, transportation is a mar-

ket where trends often guide product

change and development. Staying on

top of these shifts requires vigilance in

many departments. Constant research

is an essential part of understanding

the worldwide and national markets.

What is equally important, however, is

networking and working closely with

customers to better understand exact-

ly what they are looking for in a prod-

uct.

Warren says that one of the SAF-Hol-

land’s key goals on a national level

is to become the number one pre-

mium transport supplier in Austral-

ia across all of the company’s key

supply channels. Doing that will re-

quire promote their brand and the

breadth of choice that they offer to

clients. Furthermore, they will con-

tinue to focus on innovation and de-

sign to make sure that they always

have the edge over competitors. And

most important of all, they will strive

to manufacture products which are

based on the needs of their custom-

ers through close interactions and

networking.
